Closing of Lakeshore Drive, East of George V Avenue
Dorval, June 25, 2009 – Lakeshore Drive, east of George V Avenue, is now closed for approximately two weeks because of roadwork at the Lachine limits. Despite the barriers, local traffic is however allowed at all times for residents of the area, and also exceptionally on July 1 to accommodate those who will be attending the Canada Day festivities at Millennium Park.
Because of the roadwork, motorists must take George V Avenue, then eastbound Bouchard Boulevard to get to Lachine. The detour is indicated by appropriate signage.
The City is aware of the inconveniences that work of this nature can cause. Please rest assured that we will take the necessary steps to keep them to a strict minimum and to ensure that the work is carried out in a timely fashion.
