Long-Term Closing of the Service Road of Eastbound Highway 520
Dorval, March 1, 2012 – As part of the reconstruction work of the service roads of Highway 520 over montée de Liesse, which began last week, the ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) wishes to inform motorists of the long-term closing of the service road of eastbound Highway 520 (chemin Côte-de-Liesse), over montée de Liesse.
Long-term traffic disruptions
A detour will be put in place to allow motorists to bypass the work site.
The MTQ reminds motorists that the service road of westbound Highway 520, over montée de Liesse, will be closed approximately two weeks later. All service roads should reopen in July, before the second phase of the work, which will require the closing of Highway 520 in that sector.
The MTQ informs motorists that partial traffic disruptions on surrounding streets are also planned over the upcoming weeks. Streets closings will be announced as the work progresses.
The exact starting date of this reconstruction work is dependent upon weather conditions.
Before starting out, check the traffic situation by visiting www.quebec511.info. The MTQ also invites you to stay vigilant on the road and to respect the speed limits around work sites.
