Community Treasure Hunt on May 5, 2012

Dorval, April 16, 2012 – The City of Dorval will once again hold its annual Community Treasure Hunt, this time on Saturday, May 5, 2012.

In an effort to promote the reuse and recycling of household items, we are encouraging residents to place their unwanted yet functioning and useful items curbside by 9 a.m. on that day for free pickup by other members of the community. It is a garage sale without permits and price tags – all items are given away! For those wishing to give away their old bicycles, we invite you to bring them to the bicycle recovery kiosk instead (by SOS Vélo and Club Vélo Dorval), as part of Environment Day, on May 19.

All uncollected items must be removed from the curb that same evening. If you so choose, you may place them by the curb again for pickup by the City crews during Spring Cleaning Week, May 7 to 11.

* DON’T FORGET TO HIDE ANY OBJECTS YOU DO NOT WANT TO GIVE AWAY.
