The Discovery Series offers fascinating lectures where we travel the world. This lecture is free for Library members and costs $3 for non-members. As space is limited, advance registration at the Library is required.

The Atlantic Ocean, north of Scotland, is off the beaten track for most Canadians. Ian MacDonald presents his unusual voyage in June, the season of the Midnight Sun. Encounter the most remote islands of the United Kingdom, as well as the Faroe Islands, the Svalbard archipelago, and Jan Mayen, the location of the world’s most northerly active volcano.
