Lifesaving Courses - Bronze Cross

Registration Code: AQ2101

At the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex

If you’re seeking a more advanced training and want to know the basic notions of aquatic facility supervision, you need a Bronze Cross award. You will also learn to rescue a spinal-injured victim in the deep part of the pool and a submerged victim in cardiopulmonary arrest. The holder of a Bronze Cross award is entitled to work as an assistant-lifeguard (note that this position does not exist at the City of Dorval) in a pool (age 15 and over) and on a beach (age 16 and over). If you wish to work as a lifeguard at the City of Dorval, you must have your valid National Lifeguard certification.

Cost
-For residents: $137
-For non-residents: $166

Rates apply until January 2, after which time, 10% will be added.


January 5 to March 15 (10 weeks)

Group 1  
Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
