Lifesaving Courses - Bronze Cross

Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex

Duration: 10 weeks (final exam will take place on the 11th week) (January 6 to March 17)

Group 1
Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In the 25-metre pool

Cost: $136 (Non-resident: $164)*

If you’re seeking a more advanced training and want to know the basic notions of aquatic facility supervision, you need a Bronze Cross award. You will also learn to rescue a spinal-injured victim in the deep part of the pool and a submerged victim in cardiopulmonary arrest. The holder of a bronze cross award is entitled to work as an assistant-lifeguard in a pool (age 15 and over) and on a beach (age 16 and over).

* All rates apply until January 3, after which time, 10% will be added.
