This course teaches to rescue a spinal-injured victim in the deep part of the pool and a submerged victim in cardiopulmonary arrest. The holder of a bronze cross award is entitled to work as an assistant-lifeguard in a pool (age 15 and over) and on a beach (age 16 and over).


Recreational Swimming

You can enjoy various recreational swimming periods in the City's aquatic centres.


Swimming Lessons - Aquadapt

These are one-on-one classes pairing a person with a disability with an experienced swim instructor.


Swimming Lessons - Private

This one-on-one course is for people of all ages who wish to improve their swimming skills. Every course is personalized according to the skills, strengths, and weaknesses of each swimmer, and lesson plans are adapted to foster progress and results.


Swimming Lessons - Semi-Private

This course is for people of all ages who wish to improve their swimming skills. The ratio is two participants for an instructor. Every course is personalized according to the skills, strengths, and weaknesses of each swimmer, and lesson plans are adapted to foster progress and results.
