Block Parties

Do you want to gather your neighbours in a festive ambience and to get to know them better? Then why not organize a block party!

A block party is a great way to bring your community and neighbourhood together. It helps foster cordiality and solidarity within your living environment.

Block parties are organized by citizens and supported by the Leisure and Culture Department, which guides neighbourhood organizers and acts as the liaison with the different City departments, if needed. Citizens can therefore choose for themselves the format of their event: an after-work gathering, a community potluck, a picnic, a barbecue, family activities, and so on. Anything that brings young and old together!

The City supports the block parties by offering resources, such as loaning out certain equipment for the event. Of course, certain authorizations must be obtained.

Let the party begin!
