Dwellings (Additional Use)

In a residential zone, only a professional as defined by the Code of Professions can use part of his home for the personnel practice of his profession.

The following conditions must however be respected:

  • No parking space may be exclusively dedicated to this additional use.
  • A maximum of one employee is authorized.
  • The floor area may not exceed 25% of the total dwelling floor space without exceeding 25 square metres.

Furthermore, no apartment can be located in a basement or cellar.
