Caroline Paul-Hus will guide you through this small country which gave birth to great explorers. We'll explore it from north to south, from Valança to Faro with stops in Porto, Coimbra, Lisbon, Évora with its Roman ruins classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Arrifana, beloved by surfers and Lagos, situated in Algarve in one of Portugal's most scenic bays.
Haida Gwaii - February 8
Enjoy a visit to Haida Gwaii, formerly known as the Queen Charlotte Islands, and sometimes unofficially as the Canadian Galapagos, with Clare McFarlane. Come admire the maginificient scenery and wildlife and learn more about the history and culture of the Haida Indians, a society divided into two groups, the Ravens and the eagles.

The Architecture of Andalusia - March 7
This illustrated presentation by Rory O'Sullivan will examine how the different peoples and religions affected the architecture of the Andalucia region of Southern Spain. Included will be the examples of Roman, Gothic and Renaissance architecture, along with some beautiful Moorish counterparts. Featured will be buildings from the cities of Italica, Granada, Cordoba, and Seville.
