Basketball

Three asphalt surface outdoor basketball courts of regulation dimensions, with no lighting, are available in the following places:

• Neptune Park
• Saint-Charles Park
• Surrey Park

Baseball

A football field of midget, junior and senior dimension is located at Ballantyne Park. The field has lighting and is available for rental.

A field for Pee-Wee level or younger is located at the SDCC. There is no lighting and it is available for rental.

A field used for the Baseball West Island T-Ball program (ages 5 to 7) is located at the Jeanne-Sauvé school. This field has no lighting.

Softball

Softball fields have been set-up. These fields are available for rental.

• Windsor Park, no lighting

Bocce

Two lit bocce fields are located at the Jean-Paul Bernier Park. These fields were entirely renovated in 2007. Bring your balls!

Soccer

We have many natural turf fields and one artificial turf field, of varied dimensions.

Regulation size fields (11 players)

Six natural turf fields are available in different parks. They are available for rental:

• Jean XXIII (3)
• Queen of Angels (1)
• SDCC (1) lighting
• Surrey (1) lighting

An artificial turf field was built at the SDCC in 2008. It has lighting and can be used for soccer with 7 players (cross field) as well as for soccer with 11 players. This field is available for rental.

The new soccer chalet located behind the SDCC will be operational for the start of the 2010 soccer season. It includes four dressing rooms, an office for the Dorval Soccer Association, a first aid room and washroom facilities for the public.

Mini fields

Six mini-soccer fields (7 players or less) are available. Only the Courland West field has lighting. These fields are available for rental.

Tennis

Public courts

There are three tennis centres equipped with two courts each, in acrylic covered asphalt. These are available to the population, on a first come, first served basis, with a half hour rotation if there is waiting.

Municipal Tennis (members only)

A tennis centre with eight clay courts with lighting is available. This centre is managed by a non-profit organization, the Dorval Municipal Tennis Club. Membership is required and all are welcome.
