Friends of the Dorval Library need you!

Join the Friends of the Dorval Library and show your support to your library by participating in promotional events, by fundraising and by lending a hand as a volunteer. Friends will receive a periodic newsletter and will have the occasion to attend a variety of special activities. Individual membership ($10), First Citizen ($5), Family ($15). Membership forms are available at the library and on the Website.

Donations

The library does not accept unsolicited document donations to add to its collection, however, you can continue to contribute in many ways:

• Sponsor a membership: Opt for a magazine or a newspaper by referring to the list provided by the library and sponsor an annual membership.
  
  
• Honour with a book: Give a book to mark a special occasion, pay tribute to a loved one or offer an anniversary gift through the Honour with Books program. Get more information at the library, this fall.

To get more information on these programs, ask the library personnel.

If you are interested in giving used books, ask for our list of community organizations who will gladly accept them, or bring them to the library after August 1 so they can be sold at our used book sale.
