To File a Complaint

If you wish to file a complaint about odours, smoke, dust, and other air pollutants, or about uncontrolled dumping as well as nuisance caused by waste water discharges, we invite you to contact the Division du contrôle des rejets industriels de la Ville de Montréal as soon as the problem appears. Measures will be taken in light of the applicable regulation to verify the situation within the next 24 working hours. Afterwards, you will be informed of the results. Complaints received by fax or email during the weekend will be handled on Monday.

In case of an environmental emergency that requires an immediate intervention (serious injury, intoxication, smoke, fire or fumes that may require an evacuation of the population), call 911, then Urgence-Environnement at 1 866 694-5454.
