Lecture: The Final Push – Canada’s Hundred Days

Saturday, November 10, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
At the Dorval Library

(bilingual, for adults and youth age 12 and over)

Admission is free for everyone. As space is limited, advance registration is required.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the 1918 Armistice. Caitlin Bailey, Curator for the Canadian Center for the Great War, will explore the significant contribution of the Canadian Corps along the Western Front during the final 100 days leading to the end of World War I. The lecture will be complemented by artifacts from the Center as well as examples of “trench art” from the Dorval Museum of Local History and Heritage.

The presentation and question period of approximately one hour will be followed by an interactive session in the style of an antiques road show. Participants are invited to bring any WWI artifacts they may have.

Presented in collaboration with the Dorval Historical Society and the Dorval Museum
