We will celebrate WORDS during this year’s Journées de la culture with various free activities.
We’ll showcase creative and stimulating experiences for all, starting at 10:30 a.m., at the Library.
10 to 11 :30 a.m.: Storytelling
- 11:30 a.m. to noon: Arts and crafts with the Dorval Scribes
- 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Creation of a word mural
- 2 p.m. to 3 :15 p.m.: Writing workshop animated by rapper/slam artist D-Track
At the Heather Allard Place, behind the Library
- 11 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Mini piano introductory course on the public piano
At the Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
A unique and fascinating experience for age 13 and over
Culture and digital worlds come together! Explore the infinite possibilities that new technologies have to offer with the short film Introduction to Virtual Reality by Felix & Paul Studios, taken from Phi Centre’s Virtual Reality Garden. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the short film Inside the box of Kurios, which consists of excerpts from the Cirque du Soleil show.
