Load Restriction on the Des Sources Interchange in Pointe-Claire

Published on 06-02-2017

Since June 1, 2017, the ministère des Transports, de la Mobilité durable et de l’Électrification des transports has implemented a preventative measure on the Des Sources interchange. It is intended to maintain the safety and functionality of the interchange.

Ramp leading from Des Sources Boulevard southbound towards Highway 20 westbound

  • Restrictions on the load limits permitted for all vehicles: 5 tons (prohibiting any truck passage)
  • A detour marked for trucks has been implemented. Trucks must use the ramp leading to Highway 20 eastbound, continue until exit no. 56 (Highway 520 east, Dorval Avenue), and make a u-turn using the Dorval interchange to reach Highway 20 westbound.

In order to properly plan your trips, you can stay informed about current and upcoming traffic disruptions by consulting Quebec 511. For the safety of motorists and workers, it is essential to respect the signage in place.
