Parking

Unless otherwise indicated, parking in municipal lots is limited to a maximum of 24 consecutive hours. Also, parking is prohibited on public roads between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. from November 15 to April 15 inclusive, and year around for more than four (4) consecutive hours between 5 a.m. and 8 p.m., unless otherwise indicated.

However, a temporary permit can be obtained for parking on a public road between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., from November 15 to
April 15, in certain circumstances: renovations, repaving of a driveway, visitors. To request a permit, present yourself at City Hall (60 Martin Avenue) with the car's licence plate information in hand. Also, during the winter season, the City of Dorval implements a temporary signage system during snow removal operations. Therefore, from November 15 to April 15 inclusive, in order to facilitate the work of snow removal employees, the City asks that motorists respect the temporary parking signs when displayed on the streets of Dorval (by-law RCM-1308).

Please take note that temporary parking signs take precedence over permanent ones. Failure to respect this signage will result in the towing of the vehicle, which will be moved to a nearby street.
