Bike Paths

The City of Dorval benefits from several greatly-appreciated bicycle paths.Their trajectory has been chosen in cooperation with various persons, groups, and consultants, and according to concerns related to safety of cyclists, promotion of parks, green spaces, shoreline, commercial areas, and heritage sites in the City. Most of the bike path is made up of a 1.5 m wide lane on each side of the selected streets, and is appropriately marked and designated for use by cyclists only to better ensure their safety and that of motorists.

The official period of use of the bike path is from April 15 to November 15.


The Route Verte # 5

Part of the ROUTE VERTE network of Quebec, this bicycle path goes through Dorval by using a shared path on chemin du Bord-du-Lac—Lakeshore. The Route verte links the province from east to west and from north to south.

The City of Dorval provides cyclists with three bicibornes on its territory:
1) At Pine Beach Park, at the intersection of chemin du Bord-du-Lac—Lakeshore and Pine Beach Avenue
2) In the "Dorval Village", at 475 chemin du Bord-du-Lac—Lakeshore
3) At the Pine Beach train station, at the intersection of Cardinal and Pine Beach avenues

A biciborne is a repair station equipped with an air pump and multiple tools protected from bad weather. Everything is free.
