Autumn is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect time to tackle important priorities. Why not put blood donation near the top of your agenda?
The City of Dorval invites you, in cooperation with Héma-Québec, to participate to it’s annual blood drive, which will be held on Monday, October 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre (1335 chemin du Bord-du-Lac–Lakeshore).
GOAL: To convince 90 donors to roll up their sleeves just long enough for a quick blood donation.
To prevent line-ups and respect your busy schedule, Héma-Québec recommends that you make an appointment before coming to the blood drive. You can do this easily online at https://www.hemaquebec.ca/en/book-appointment/cite-dorval or by calling 1-800-343-7264.
Roll up your sleeves!
We need solidarity to keep our collective blood supply afloat! Everyone who rolls up their sleeve makes a difference. If you’re afraid of needles, just know that the people on site are qualified to oversee this experience. They will be able to reassure you, and you will be so proud to have donated!
Want to check if you can donate?
Before going to a blood drive, you can always confirm your eligibility with Donor Services at 1-800-847-2525 or visit the Héma-Québec website at www.hemaquebec.ca/en, under the section Donate > Blood > Who can give blood?
Thank you for your generosity!
