In order to keep its citizens informed about different construction sites related to the maintenance of roads, aqueducts, sewers, and sports fields, the City of Dorval offers here a list of works undertaken on its territory, which is regularly updated.
Please note that only construction work carried out by the City of Dorval appears on the above map. Work on the Dorval territory undertaken by the City of Montreal, the ministère des Transports du Québec, and any other authority is not listed.
We ask residents of the streets mentioned on the map to advise the Municipal Engineering Division of any automatic sprinkler system they have or any other system located near the sidewalk or the roadway curb. Affected residents are also asked to delay any driveway or landscaping repairs.
The City will do its utmost to avoid undue inconvenience to citizens and thanks you for your understanding.

The work will be undertaken between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
What does the process involve?
Unidirectional flushing of the water distribution system is a systematic removal of non-solidified deposits using water velocity. An organized and strategic manipulation of hydrants to be flushed and valves ensures that the source of water used to clean always comes from previously flushed sections, with minimal disturbance to surrounding areas.
Consequently, you could experience a temporary slight loss of water pressure and your water could also be rust-coloured. This may cause some inconvenience such as stains on fabrics. It is recommended to first verify if your water is rust-coloured before using it.
What you should do if your water is rust-coloured?
If the water is rust-coloured, leave the cold water running on one water faucet until the water loses its coloration. You may repeat with all the plumbing in your home. You can do your laundry and dishes after hours and days above-mentioned. Note that there is no risk for your health.
For additional information, please contact Public Works at 514 633-4046.
This procedure is necessary to maintain the good condition of the water distribution system. We apologize for the inconvenience that it may cause and thank you for your cooperation.
Please note that this list is updated from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays. Any notice issued outside of this time period will be added on the next business day.
