Teen Membership Card
With this card, teens ages 11 to 17 can benefit from discounts on certain outings and organized activities, including free entry to Teen Sports Nights at the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex (DASC). The card is available at the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre, and the DASC, at an annual cost of $10 (or $20 for non-residents).
Youth Advisory Committee
In light of the difficulty to reach teens in an informal forum, the City of Dorval created, on November 7, 1988, the Youth Advisory Committee, which regroups a maximum of 15 young Dorval residents. By meeting approximately four times per year, the members of the committee discuss about youth related projects, make their recommendations to the Council, and are involved in the planning, development, and implementation of programs and activities relating to their needs. They also gain valuable experience by volunteering at various events throughout the community.
All Dorval residents, between the age of 12 and 17, are eligible to become members of the Youth Advisory Committee.

The Job Co-op is an odd-job employment service offered to Dorval residents, which links up teens who are interested in earning a little extra money with citizens who need to have some work done in their homes. This can include babysitting, raking, lawn mowing, painting, gardening, cleaning, and so forth.
If you are looking for work and a rewarding experience, drop by the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre or the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre and fill out an application form.
If you are a resident who needs to have some work done in your home, call 514 633-4000 and we will put you in contact with a willing worker.

In Dorval, teens have plenty of options! Sports, creative activities, events, and relaxation spaces – there's something for everyone. Join us to experience new things and have fun with friends!
Teen Sports Nights at the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex
Join us Saturdays, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., at the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex gymnasium for some basketball, football, dodgeball, badminton, and more!
The cost is only $1 per visit or free with the Teen Membership Card.

Teen Zone
The Teen Zone: A place for youth, created by youth!
The Teen Zone is a hub where teens can socialize and grow as individuals, and a place where positive and long-lasting friendships are often created. It offers youth the freedom they need as well as a variety of more structured weekly activities such as cooking nights, video game and ping-pong tournaments, pool games, and movie and pizza nights. Special outings, such as bowling evenings, escape rooms, and others, are also organized.
The Teen Zone is supervised by monitors who genuinely care about the youth’s well-being. Whether teens need homework help or just someone who can listen, they can always count on our monitors for support.
The Teen Zone is located in the basement of the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, in room S-008, and is open Wednesday to Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. This youth centre also offers Sports Nights in the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex gymnasium on Saturdays, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The cost is $1 per visit or free upon presentation of the Teen Membership Card.
