Baroque harpsichord
Les Goûts réunis is a program of duets for violin and harpsichord composed by the great masters of the Baroque period, including Bach, Couperin, Corelli, and Eccles. The project was born of a meeting between two passionate musicians of different generations, violinist Guillaume Villeneuve and harpsichordist Luc Beauséjour, and their desire to celebrate the richness and variety of the musical styles of Baroque Europe. The title of the concert, inspired by François Couperin's collection of the same name, perfectly embodies the spirit of this project: to bring together works by composers of the Baroque era who influenced each other and contributed to the evolution of the repertoire for violin and harpsichord. The program offers audiences a captivating exploration of the musical dialogues of this era.
