Golf Dorval is equipped with many facilities necessary to accommodate recreational as well as competitive golfers. The golf club offers a challenging 18-hole course, a driving range, a putting green, a miniature golf course, two reception halls, a bar, and terraces.

The centre is open, however, on certain weeknights and weekends as per scheduled activities only.

Located in the north end of the municipality, the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre (SACC) has an outside pool, water games, and three halls (A, B, and C) where courses and activities take place. These rooms are available for rent, depending on their availability.

The City of Dorval benefits from several greatly-appreciated bicycle paths.Their trajectory has been chosen in cooperation with various persons, groups, and consultants, and according to concerns related to safety of cyclists, promotion of parks, green spaces, shoreline, commercial areas, and heritage sites in the City. Most of the bike path is made up of a 1.5 m wide lane on each side of the selected streets, and is appropriately marked and designated for use by cyclists only to better ensure their safety and that of motorists.

The official period of use of the bike path is from April 15 to November 15.

The Route Verte # 5

Part of the ROUTE VERTE network of Quebec, this bicycle path goes through Dorval by using a shared path on chemin du Bord-du-Lac—Lakeshore. The Route verte links the province from east to west and from north to south.

Please note that the boat launching ramp will not be accessible on Saturday, July 4 and from August 6 to 9, due to special events.

Informations

The boat launching facility is offered to Dorval residents from one of the prettiest bays on Lake Saint-Louis.

It features two 30-foot-long floating wharves and one low-profile kayak wharf. 

There are also over 30 parking spaces available for vehicles and trailers.

2026 subscription procedure

As of April 6, to obtain a key and sticker, residents must go to the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex (1295 Dawson Avenue) during regular opening hours. 

Residents must have in hand:

• A valid Dorval Activity card (card renewal possible at the DASC)
• The key from the 2025 season (for returning members)
• Information about their watercraft, vehicle, and trailer (only one vehicle and trailer per member allowed)

Residents will be required to complete the 2026 membership form, in one of two ways:

1. By clicking on the link at the bottom of the page. Residents can print the form and pass by the DASC with the document already completed.
2. By going to the DASC to fill out the form on site.
   

Membership fee

• $25 for Dorval residents
• $20 for Dorval First Citizens (age 55 and over)

Key deposit fee

$30 → This is a one-time deposit to be refunded when terminating your yearly membership and returning your key.

A 3-basket disc golf course is located at Windsor Park (corner of Dawson Avenue and Fénelon Boulevard). It is available year-round, seven days a week. 

Equipment loan

Discs may be rented, free of charge, at the reception of Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex (1295 Dawson Avenue), in exchange for your Dorval Activity Card or a piece of identification, according to the following schedule:

• Monday to Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This bench circuit, located in the Arboretum trail, offers you several ways to exercise outdoors. Panels alongside each bench offer simple and varied exercises adaptable to all levels.

You can download the Kozi Trekfit app to diversify and customize your workouts or invent your own series of exercises. And why not combine the circuit with exercises on the Trekfit training equipment, located behind the baseball field at the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, in order to enjoy a complete outdoor fitness session!

At Millenium Park

Millennium Park has five ergonomically designed exercise stations for active adults age 50 and over.

Residents can get their muscles and heart in shape using these fitness stations located along the pedestrian path. They provide revitalizing fitness exercises in a beautiful outdoor setting, and two of them are dedicated for use by wheelchair-bound persons.

Each station includes three separate exercises that emulate natural movement patterns, such as squatting, bending, and pulling. These exercises build total-body strength, flexibility, and balance. Three levels of intensity are offered, allowing for workouts at a personalized comfort level. Large images and text make the instructions easy to follow.

At Westwood Park

A special area with 10 exercise stations can be found next to the Westwood Sports Centre. These installations allow residents to perform many types of exercises for the entire body. This space also features a trampoline and shade screens.

A very nice Trekfit training circuit is located on the grounds of the SDCC. This concept combines autonomous physical activity with the outdoors. What better way to energize yourself outside in fresh air and forget about your daily routine! The equipment, designed by a team of kinesiologists, is easy to use and multi-functional. Many muscle strengthening and cardiovascular exercises are offered on the explanatory panels or via the mobile app using the QR code.

The benefits of regular physical activity on overall health are undeniable. Even better, you can use these outdoor equipments for free. It’s a date!

Combine tennis, racquetball, table tennis, and badminton, and you'll get pickleball, a sport that is becoming more and more popular in Canada.

The hard-surfaced racket is inspired by that of table tennis and racquetball and the holey plastic ball is similar to that used by cosom hockey. Pickleball can be played in singles or doubles, and field sizes are comparable to badminton.

Residents have access to an awesome skatepark located on Dawson Avenue, in front of the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex. These top-of-the-line installations cover approximately 1,400 m2 and include tons of obstacles, special modules, several ramps, and even a half pipe.

Informations

Based on the seasons, the Edgar Rouleau Arena offers freestyle skating and hockey periods. It is also possible to rent ice time for private activities. The Arena is equipped with a reception room (with a capacity of 104 people), a snack bar, and a roomy terrace on the second floor. Skate sharpening services are available at the pro-shop. Several hockey tournaments in various leagues and divisions are played at the Arena. The season starts in the fall and ends in the spring.

Informations

The Complex contains several installations such as two pools, a double-size gymnasium, and a multipurpose room. Citizens can benefit from open activities in the gymnasium (badminton, volleyball, etc.), recreational swim, aquatic courses (Aqua Jogging, Aqua Fit, etc.), and fitness courses (Cardio Fit, Zumba Step, Express Toning, etc.)

Sports shoes with non-marking soles are mandatory for all activities in the gymnasium.

Please note that a Dorval Activity card is required to register to any course or to take part in any activity at the DASC (recreational swimming, lap swim, and gymnasium activities).

About

The Dorval Fitness Centre, located inside the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex, is a welcoming environment for adults who wish to improve their overall fitness. This 2,700 square feet centre features more than 40 pieces of equipment, including top-of-the-line strength and cardio equipment such as treadmills, elliptical trainers, and others, with easy-to-use integrated technology solutions that will redefine your exercise experience.

It also includes a functional training zone, as well as a TRX area, which is a form of suspension training that uses body-weight exercises to simultaneously develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability.

Rules and guidelines

• Closed shoes are mandatory. Outdoor shoes and boots are not authorized in the centre.
• Bags are prohibited in the Fitness Centre. They must be kept in the locker rooms.
• Members must clean the equipment after each usage with the available spray found throughout the Fitness Centre.
• Food is prohibited.
• It is forbidden to talk on the phone in the Fitness Centre.
• It is prohibited to film and take photos while in the Fitness Centre.
• The Dorval Activity card or the non-resident card must be presented at each visit.
