Every artist, group, or institution wishing to expose their works at the Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre must complete a submission proposal.

The Peter B. Yeomans Cultural Centre presents quality exhibitions that explore a wide variety of themes, art practices, and mediums. The Cultural Centre actively supports the local and international visual arts community by acknowledging established artists and promoting emerging ones. Through its supplementary cultural mediation and educational programs, the Cultural Centre aims to foster community involvement and help make art accessible to all.
The City is seeking professional or semi-professional artists, groups, and organizations. A professional artist is one who meets the definitions established by UNESCO, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) and the Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels du Québec (RAAV). In keeping with these definitions, a professional artist: produces work on his or her own behalf, is recognized as an artist by peers, and has presented work in a professional context. For emerging artists to be considered, they must be currently producing work on their own behalf, and have presented work in a minimum of one professional context.
