Environmental Drop-off

Environment

The City of Dorval will be organizing an environmental drop-off in order to collect household hazardous waste (HHW), information and communications technologies (ICT) waste, and polystyrene articles.

Dorval residents will be able to drop off any ICT waste (computers, screens, printers, televisions, radios, cellphones, etc.), HHW (paint, oils, antifreeze, aerosols, etc.), and polystyrene items (construction polystyrene and protective polystyrene used for household appliances, furniture, etc.) at the same location.

Only domestic waste will be accepted at the drop-off. Waste from industries, businesses, and institutions will be refused. Proof of residency will be required.

A document shredding service and a rimless tire recovery service (tires with a diameter of less than 48.5 inches) will also be offered to citizens during this environmental drop-off.

Through this drop-off, the City of Dorval can, in a safe and responsible way, dispose of waste materials, which take up more and more space in landfill sites.
