Preventive Analysis of Clay Tennis Courts: No Asbestos Detected

Following concerns raised in certain municipalities regarding the possible presence of asbestos in the sand used to maintain clay tennis courts (Har-Tru), the City of Dorval undertook preventive testing of its facilities.

A specialized external firm was commissioned to carry out thorough inspections and analyses of all relevant courts. The results confirmed that no traces of asbestos were found in the materials used.

The City of Dorval reassures its residents that it remains fully committed to the safety of its sports infrastructure and will continue to follow the recommendations of relevant authorities for all future maintenance activities.
