The City of Dorval wishes to remind its citizens that they can dispose of their mattresses each month by placing them by the curb on the eve of the special pickup week for CRD (construction, renovation, and demolition) debris, branches, and large objects. It is also possible to drop off mattresses in the Public Works yard one Saturday per month. For the detailed 2025 calendar for various waste pickups and drop-offs, click here.
IMPORTANT NOTICES
In all cases, in order to avoid mattress contamination and the spread of bedbugs, as well as for the health and safety of municipal employees, it is mandatory to seal all mattresses in a plastic cover or bag before placing them by the curb (such bags can be purchased in several big box stores).
Furthermore, no other waste or material must lean on or cover the mattress, and the latter must be placed separately from CRD debris and branches (during the pickup week).
Please note that if these instructions are not respected, your mattress will not be collected.
Thank you for your cooperation!
