Towards a Cultural Policy for Dorval

The City of Dorval is developing its first Cultural Policy, a planning tool that confirms the importance of culture in the development of a community and expresses a common and shared vision of culture.

As part of this process, citizens, artists, cultural organizations, local businesses and all stakeholders will be invited to share their ideas and vision to shape the cultural future of Dorval.

It is essential that you, the residents of Dorval, as well as the various stakeholders working in the City, be consulted throughout this inclusive and participatory process. By sharing your points of view, you will give the Cultural Policy a vision and direction in line with your aspirations, thus promoting the implementation of actions that will meet the real needs of our community.

Your contribution is solicited through two actions:

  1. Complete the survey which will be open from February 25 to March 23:
  2. Take part in one of the two public consultations open to all (registration required) :
    • Wednesday, March 12, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre (Rooms B, C, and D)
    • Tuesday, March 25, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., online via Teams
The link will be sent by email 2 days prior to the consultation.

Gift certificates worth $100 at participating Dorval businesses will be drawn among citizens who completed the survey.
