Highway 520 Closures in the Area of Highway 13, During the Weekend of April 24

The ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable advises road users that Highway 520 westbound will be closed in the area of Highway 13 during the weekend of April 24. This closure is required as part of the reconstruction work on the Highway 520 overpass, above Highway 13. This weekend closure will be followed by a partial single-lane closure until May 4.

Traffic disruptions and management

Friday, April 24, at 9:30 p.m. to Monday, April 27 at 5 a.m.

  • Complete closure of Highway 520 westbound, between Exit 4 and the entrance from Highway 13 south.
    • A detour will be in place via the service road (Côte-de-Liesse Road).

Monday, April 27 at 5 a.m. to Monday, May 4 at 5 a.m.

  • Partial closure (1 lane open) of Highway 520 westbound in the Highway 13 area.
  • The access ramp from Montée de Liesse will also remain closed until May 4 at 5 a.m.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Periods of congestion are expected.
  • Road users heading to Montréal-Trudeau International Airport should plan their route accordingly.

Additional weekend closures will be required in the coming weeks and will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

In the event of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, these closures may be postponed.

Before hitting the road, road users are encouraged to consult Québec 511, a practical tool for planning their trips.
