The City of Dorval has started cleaning work on sanitary sewer pipes in the area south of Highway 20, from Claude to Boylan avenues.
The work is expected to last approximately one month.
Procedure
Pressurized cleaning involves using a high-pressure water jet to remove deposits and obstructions from sewer pipes. This method keeps the sewer network in good condition and prevents overflows or plumbing problems.
Impact on residents
High-pressure cleaning may cause temporary noise, odors, or slight sewer backups in the toilets or sanitary facilities of affected buildings. It is therefore important that residents in affected areas take note of these possibilities and keep toilet lids closed to avoid further problems.
