“Bloom and Zoom” Contest

Do you think flowers and plants make for the best pictures? Do you enjoy gardening at home? Well, we have the perfect contest for you!

In an effort to increase suitable resources for pollinators, the Dorval Environment Committee is inviting you to start your own pollinator-friendly gardens (or continue to take care of them), take a few photos, and email them to the Committee, along with a description of the plants used.

At the end of the summer, prizes for the nicest gardens will be awarded in three categories:

  1. Front yard gardens
  2. Backyard gardens
  3. Pots and planters on balconies

To participate, please email DorvalEnviro@ville.dorval.qc.ca by August 1, 2025, with the following information:

  • Pictures of your pollinating artwork
  • Details of plants you used
  • Your home address
  • Your phone number

If you need advice on which kinds of plants to use, feel free to contact the City of Dorval’s Green Line at 514 633-4018 or at greenline@ville.dorval.qc.ca.
