The lay out of each property must provide for the drainage of rain, melting snow, or run-off into the public system, and not on adjacent properties. This rule is based on the Quebec Civil Code regulations.

Land embankment

Before filling a lot or raising the level of the land, it is necessary to ensure that drainage from the raised level will not hinder the drainage of adjacent properties. This rule is based on theQuebec Civil Code regulations.

Multi-family or commercial parking

Several standards must be respected when creating a multi-family or commercial parking lot. These relate to the number of stall, dimensions, distances, etc.

Driveway entrances

The City can, at the property owner’s expense, cut a new entrance depression along a curb or sidewalk, or widen the existing depression.
