Long-Term Closure of the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex This Summer
Due to major roof repair work, the Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex (DASC) will be closed to the public from June 16 to September 16, 2025.
To minimize the impact of this closure on swimmers, additional spaces will be added in the outdoor aquatic centres’ programming during the summer. The Surrey and Walters aquatic centres’ post-season will also be extended until the DASC reopens.
Fitness classes will be relocated to Dorval’s two community centres as well as outdoors. Lastly, residents who wish to engage in physical activity will be encouraged to take greater advantage of the many first-rate outdoor facilities available throughout the municipality:
- Four basketball courts (Neptune, St-Charles, and Courtland parks, as well as on the grounds of the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre)
- Four pickleball courts (behind the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre)
- Three public tennis sites (Neptune and St-Charles parks, as well as on the grounds of the Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre)
- A beach volleyball court (between the Edgar Rouleau Arena and the Walters Aquatic Centre)
- Various outdoor exercise stations (Millennium Park, Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre grounds, Westwood Park, and Arboretum)
- A disc golf course at Windsor Park
- A brand new skatepark (in front of the DASC)
Please note that all types of memberships related to the DASC (annual, family, Fitness Centre, etc.) will be extended on a pro rata basis for days lost.
